Over the years, we’ve been grateful to gather with our community through booths, fundraisers, and special events that bring people together in support of foster families. Each occasion has been an opportunity to share our mission, celebrate the strength of children and caregivers, and build connections with those who walk alongside us. Here you’ll find a look back at the moments that have shaped our journey and the generosity that continues to make our work possible.
December 2025
Christmas Party
This Christmas season, we were honored to celebrate our foster youth and resource families with a festive movie and pizza party filled with warmth, joy, and connection. Every child received gifts chosen especially for them, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community. In the weeks leading up to the event, we placed Christmas trees at partnering businesses, each decorated with ornaments listing specific gift wishes from our foster youth. Community members selected ornaments, purchased gifts, and helped make the holiday bright for every child we serve. The outpouring of kindness reflected the heart of the season and reminded us how deeply our community cares for foster families. We are deeply grateful to Adventist Health in Oakhurst, Idle Hour Winery, Clash Coffee in Oakhurst, Bobaology Tea Haus in Fresno, PepsiCo, Sarah Kathleen Hair Salon in Mariposa, and Golden 1 Credit Union for hosting our giving trees and helping make this effort a success. We also extend heartfelt thanks to Yosemite Cinema for discounted tickets and treats, Round Table Pizza for providing discounted food, and Clash Coffee for offering free drink coupons. Your generosity made this celebration possible and brought holiday joy to every foster youth who joined us.

Christmas Tree Auction
We were grateful to participate in the Christmas Tree Auction at Tenaya Lodge, where we contributed a decorated tree in support of foster youth and families. The event brought together community members, organizations, and supporters to celebrate the season while raising funds and awareness for meaningful causes. Being part of such a heartfelt tradition allowed us to share our mission and shine a light on the needs of children in foster care. We extend our sincere thanks to Jen and Carl Mitchell of Acorn Properties, Solstice Salon in Oakhurst, and our private donors for their generous support. Your contributions helped make our participation in the auction possible and supported our ongoing work with foster children and families.

We were honored to take part in the Coarsegold Tarantula Festival with an informational booth dedicated to sharing our mission and resources. The event offered a wonderful chance to connect with local families, answer questions, and spread awareness about the importance of foster care in our community. Your support made it possible for us to be part of this community event and continue reaching families who want to make a difference.

Benefit Ride
The Motorcycle Poker Benefit Ride took riders through beautiful scenic stops, all while raising support for foster youth. What began as a day on the open road became a powerful way to bring awareness and resources to children and families in foster care. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Wilsons the Original Motorcycle Shop, Pepsi, Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, Iron Panther Trailers, Purpose Built, and the California Motorcyclist Safety Program Valley Motorcycle Training. We are equally grateful to Shadow Caster Motorcycle Club, Dog Gon' Clean Grooming, La Rosa's Tortilla Factory, Elks Lodge, CC Biker, Fresno Harley-Davidson, and our private donors for making this ride possible and impactful for foster youth.

Graduation BBQ
This summer, we gathered at Bass Lake for a special Graduation BBQ, celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of our incredible foster youth. It was a day filled with laughter, good food, and joyful moments by the water as we honored their achievements and looked ahead to bright futures. A heartfelt thank-you to Whole Foods, Pepsi, Raley’s, Pioneer Market in Mariposa, and Grocery Outlet for their generous support. Your kindness helped make this celebration happen and be special for our foster youth.

At the Mariposa Butterfly Festival, we had the joy of connecting with the community through our informational booth. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our mission, answer questions, and spread awareness about the ways we support foster families. Surrounded by the vibrant spirit of the festival, we were reminded of how important these community connections are in helping foster youth thrive.
